A 3-days webinar on RF communication was organized by the Department of Instrumentation & USIC, Gauhati University, from 23rd January to 25th January, 2023. The objective of the webinar was to give an overview of Radiofrequency Communication techniques

The webinar was organized by considering a target group of post-graduate students and research scholars coming from physics, electronics, and computer science discipline.

Dr. Halappa R Gajera (University of Mysore, Karnataka, India) gave a talked on Microstrip antenna design. 

Dr. Ashwani Kumar (Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India) delivered a lecture on the topic Microstrip filter and antenna design.

And Dr. Avinash R. Vaidya (Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department, Pillai College of Engineering (PCE)) delivered the third lecture of the webinar series on RF communications.

Forty-seven (47) participants engaged in the sessions, contributing to the success of this knowledge-sharing initiative.

This webinar was successful led by the Chairperson Prof. Utpal Sarma, Head, Instrumentation & USIC. The entire event was co-ordinated by Dr. Pranjal Borah and jointly chaired by Dr. Debashis Saikia and Mr. Nairit Barkataki.
